Common Signs of a CBD Scam – CBD Instead

Common Signs of a CBD Scam

Published on

Lately, there have been a lot of people taking advantage of the sick because of how popular CBD oil is becoming. Because the FDA hasn’t started to dip their hands into the regulation process, it is up to us as a community to educate one another to prevent us from being taken advantage of. Here are some signs that the CBD oil you’re buying is likely a scam.

Free Trials

While a free trial is something anyone would want to jump on, you need to read the fine print. If a CBD company is telling you that you can get free CBD oil and find a way to get your credit card, it is likely a scam. They can do this by having you pay for shipping and handling or setting you up for a reoccurring payment. Always read everything when you agree to something, and if something seems too good to be true, it likely isn’t.

Extremely Low Prices

If you see that there is a tincture bottle with 500MG and it is only twelve dollars, it is likely you aren’t getting real CBD hemp oil. Some companies will put whatever they want in a bottle and slap a CBD label on it and try to reel you in with attractive prices. Extremely low prices can also indicate that a cheap process was used to grow the hemp or extract the hemp oil. Like most things you buy, you get what you pay for.

Check the Product

A high price tag doesn’t mean much, either. When shopping for CBD oil products, be sure to check the product out through and through. Things you need to consider when comparing prices and are the size of the product and how many milligrams are in it. If you find a tincture product that is five ounces but only has 50MG of CBD, that isn’t a whole lot of CBD. You might be tricked into paying a high price because there is so much liquid in the bottle, but it is the CBD that is what is valuable.

Trust Your Gut

If you feel like something is off, it’s likely that something is. You don’t get that gut reaction for no reason; your brain is trained to see things you might not notice and warn you. If you think that a CBD oil company is trying to scam you, get out of there. But since you are on this page, you don’t have to worry about that with us. We only sell from trusted vendors who offer lab reports and have a reputation for quality hemp. If you would like any information on any of the products we offer, just ask! Stop by our shop today to get CBD oil you won't regret buying!
