3 Easy Ways To Use CBD In Household Items

Published on

If you are using CBD on a budget, you might have already looked into CBD Isolates. They are 99% CBD, it lasts longer than buying pre-made products, and in the long run, it saves you money. While you are missing out of the full plant hemp oil that is enhanced by the entourage effect, using CBD isolate in household items could still be a valid option because of how easy it is to use. Here are three ways that you can use isolate with things you might have lying around the house.

Pain Relief Rub

If you have any rubbing alcohol around your house, it is perfect for your CBD Isolate! You can upgrade your disinfectant by adding CBD, making it relieve pain and help your skin’s health as well! If you have a large bottle, for a more concentrated dose separate your desired amount into a separate container. Just put the CBD in the alcohol and mix it thoroughly. For a five milliliter bottle of rubbing alcohol, putting in a full gram of CBD Isolate will give you 200 milligrams for each milliliter. This will come out to about ten milligrams of CBD for each drop.

Tinctures

You can make your own CBD tinctures with oils you may have around the house, or you can quickly pick up at the grocery store the next time you go shopping. The best oils to use are extra virgin olive oils, coconut oils, or hempseed oils. Our one gram CBD Isolate mixed with ten milliliters of oil would produce 100 milligrams of CBD in each milliliter of oil. One milliliter comes out to about twenty drops, giving you five milligrams a drop.

Mix your CBD Isolate and carrier oil well, until you can’t see the isolate anymore. Seal the oil in a container and give it a hot water bath at 125°-135° F for about ten minutes. You can directly take these drops under the tongue (after it cools, of course) or put it in food that you’re making.

Lotion

After you’ve made your own CBD oil for tinctures or bought some from our shop, you can use that oil to create your own lotions. When choosing your lotion or cream, try to use one that is vegetable oil based. These types of creams will absorb into your skin better than the ones that use petroleum. All you have to do is take the desired amount of CBD liquid and mix it with the cream or lotion you want to use.

Using CBD Isolates can seem scary at first because you aren’t a chemist. But there are easy ways to use it with things lying around the house or easily bought at any store. Try one of these three ways you can use our CBD Isolate to make the perfect product that suits you.
