How To Pass A Drug Test While Using Medical Marijuana – CBD Instead

How To Pass A Drug Test While Using Medical Marijuana

Published on

You may have heard the buzz about medical marijuana and how it is almost a miracle drug. It doesn’t cure every disease known to man, but it does help aid with many underlying symptoms that are commonly accompanying disorders or diseases. The only problem with medical cannabis is that the government hasn’t decided whether or not it is safe enough to become legal. Which, more power to them to want more research, but you can find out here why it’s moving along so slowly.

When people say they are taking medical marijuana, there is more to the plant than what you might see in movies. There is more than just the THC in the cannabis plant that has healing properties; there is also a chemical called Cannabidiol (CBD). This chemical helps with pain, anxiety, mood disorders, muscle spasms, and appetite, but it doesn’t have the same psychological effects you would get by ingesting THC.

CBD is a unique chemical because it doesn’t exactly bind to the cannabinoid receptors. It only activates pathways and receptors that are surrounding them which create reactions. THC binds directly to the CB1 receptor, which is the main reason we feel that heightened euphoric effect with THC heavy marijuana.

If CBD shows up on a drug test, it isn’t considered illegal like THC is. A lot of people who work in no drug environments or who live in illegal states use CBD to keep their medication as legal and safe as possible. However, you still need to be careful when purchasing CBD products to make sure they have no THC content.

How To Tell If CBD Has No THC

If a CBD product has been labeled that it was made with industrial hemp, there are untraceable amounts of THC in that product. The industrial hemp plant only contains on average .03% of THC, which isn’t enough to have any psychological or physical effects on the body making it the legal limit. Some CBD retailers go as far as to say that there is little to no THC in the product with a logo or icon to make it easier to find. If you don’t see that information, then you can’t make an educated decision on the product. It’s best to stay with websites which are open and honest about their products. There is nothing wrong with THC; it just isn’t legal in all states.

If you want to skip the steps that involve searching for CBD that won't make you fail a drug test, come check out our shop! All of our products are less than .03% THC so you can use them without any worry!
